Impact Minerals (ASX: IPT) Corporate Release on Maiden Measured Resource for the Lake Hope HPA Project WA
Impact Minerals (ASX: IPT) is pleased to announce a substantial and high-grade maiden
Measured Resource estimate for its flagship Lake Hope High Purity Alumina (HPA) Project, located
about 500 km east of Perth in Western Australia.
Announcement Highlights
1. Proven Resource: The project boasts 730,000 tonnes of high-grade lake clay, supporting at least 15 years of production.
2. Booming Market: HPA, used in electronics and clean energy solutions, commands prices of over $20,000 per tonne—a huge opportunity.
3. Low-Cost Leadership: Impact is set to produce HPA at one of the lowest costs globally, translating to high profits and reduced risks.
4. Government Backing: Early receipt of a $2.87M federal grant accelerates pilot plant construction, ensuring faster progress.
5. Sustainability: With an environmentally friendly production process and minimal waste, Lake Hope is set to lead in responsible resource development.
This milestone positions Impact Minerals to deliver low-cost, high-margin HPA products to meet growing global demand. The Pre-Feasibility Study is on track for completion in Q1 2025, setting the stage for long-term success.
Congratulations to Dr Mike Jones, the board and the team at Impact Minerals for reaching this milestone.
