Top of the Monday to all and I hope the weekend just gone was fruitful,

Finally managed to get to a physio on Saturday after two weeks limping around grumbling like the Penguin and it turns out I’d actually damaged a ligament and sustained a stress fracture at our Charity Touch football game. The extraordinary timing that medical orders to properly tape and rest it coincided with the biggest weekend of College football, Bathurst and the start of the America’s Cup final series. In absolute hog heaven. We are currently laden with deals at the moment, one in particular on the market that is better than the usual things you see out there. Send me a note for any interest.

Also, some real fun on the podcast on Friday, talking about markets and what’s next for lithium. Heath has some good ideas that could be put into practice this week. Link Here.

Speaking of hog heaven, would you just take a look at the US market?

The Bull market turns 2. I won’t lie when I was looking at things this time 2 years ago there were not many that were seeing as big a rally as this.

The chart below shows we are about halfway there in terms of time and barely scratched the surface in terms of return.

Stay invested.

…because we’re about to hit the sweet spot in company buyback season. Also, Trump has moved to clear favourite and as much as I don’t care for him (or Kamala for that matter) he is always bullish for equities.

Funnily enough one of the podcasts I did for Ensombl dropped last week. This time it was with highly respected manager T. Rowe Price. We talk about Mag 7 finding a plateau of earnings expectations, having the rest of the market catch up to them and where the value might be aside from that.

I speak to Associate PM for the Global Growth Strategy Iona Dent who takes us through some of the ideas they have for Emerging markets.

Have a listen and if you want to get involved in any of these I should be able to help you out. Links here

And I don’t want to suggest Emerging Markets have reacted favourably to our chat but….

Finally, in tech news, it’s all about robotics and self-driving cars are back on the agenda.

Tesla talking about changing the world when the tech they’re unveiling is already in use.

Waymo is ticking along nicely.

Remember robotics as being the absolute thing of all things a few years back?

The Global X ROBO ETF was my pick of the litter, containing some extraordinary tech names.

I don’t mind it if you’re into that kind of trend following. The chart goes ok.

And finally, it looks like the Chinese have cracked encryption via quantum computing. That’s bad news for crypto, although I know 1000 will tell me how it’s actually not.
