H2X Global Limited has been featured in the AFR discussing the Company's deal with Renova, a company that collects waste for local councils in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city.

The AFR article states;

'H2X Global Limited, an Australian company making hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles, is raising $10 million and examining a potential stock exchange listing as its business grows with a new contract to supply waste management vehicles in Sweden.

H2X has secured a deal to supply up to 37 hydrogen fuel cell-powered trucks to a company called Renova, which collects waste for local councils in Gothenburg, Sweden’s second-largest city. The contract is worth up to $US23 million ($34 million), with the trucks to be progressively supplied for the next three years.'

"The big plus for the hydrogen fuel cell-powered trucks was they could be refuelled at a depot in just three to five minutes. The speed of refuelling was crucial for professional drivers in an industrial setting."

The AFR article further states;

'The company’s advances in Sweden will be used to expand further into Scandinavia. “It is our stepping stone into all of the Nordic,” Ms Reynolds said. Some of the capital raising proceeds will be applied to the Gothenburg contract, with the eventual plan to float the business on a stock exchange. “It is always the aim to look at a listing,” she said. Once all the Renova vehicles are supplied, it will make up the largest fleet of hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles in Sweden.

While the spotlight around the world in the automotive and transport industries is very much on electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell technology is making strong inroads.'
