Late last year, there was a big development in the world of AI. You may have heard about something called chat GPT, but not understand what it actually is. So chat GPT is a language model that really has the ability to generate human like texts, making it well suited for a number of automated tasks, such as chat box, language, translation, things of that sort of nature.
And it's been a huge development, um, for the world of AI because it's really opened up AI to the masses. It's a really easy to use interface and the reception has been mostly positive. However, the criticisms come from the fact that That it can be used for nefarious purposes, such as writing fillishing emails or plagiarism.
So, in academia, for example, they're having a real problems with students getting chat GPT to write their essays and then submitting it. And it's really difficult for professors to pick up on this because it's quite, Unique and it's not directly copied and pasted from say a Wikipedia page. So nonetheless, despite the flaws, it's a really exciting development in the world of AI and it really is starting to show the potential for major market disruption.
